question: no more sound when using phone dialer [answered]

facing this problem now. it started with no more audio at all. reboot phone, removed battery. nothing worked. sound was gone.

then i removed battery for a longer period (>10mins) and problem went away. sounds are back now.

however, i still have no sound when using the phone dialer (no DTMF tones heard when pressing on the individual number keys).

help?!

it's a change requested and implemented on 1.0.4.20 if you have disabled phone notificatiion sounds you don't hear dial tones when dialing a number

i found it. in settings -> sounds and feedback. make sure you enable touch screen tones. it's odd that mine got disabled. i never touched that setting.

anyway problem resolved.
