Wifi stops working, phone doesnt boot and needs battery removal
I frequently encounter cases when the phone stops being able to connect to WiFi, and after I turn it off using power button, it wouldn't turn on - the only solution is to remove battery. Here you can see a video of me trying to turn on the phone in this "comatose" state: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUP6EPWFnxE
This situation seems to happen often in areas with poor WiFi. I was recently travelling to Indonesia, where bad WiFi is quite common, and I was encountering this situation a few times per day. This problem has also happened to me with the latest Sailfish 1.0.4.20.
I am having the same, when I try network discovery via settings - it shows nothing, but then if I run "iwlist wlan0 scanning" as root from console - it does find networks, so seems like settings menu for whatever reason gets out of sync with actual state of wireless interface. I was able to solve this by shutting down and restarting the phone, but haven't found out how to 100% reproduce the problem.
