Alien Dalvik/device lock-code

Would it be possible to get the Android subsystem to recognize if the device lock code is activated or not? Our company mobile email solution (Notes Traveller) requires this.

Can confirm that this does not work on my notes traveller install as well. Would be great to have this as it looks like everything else works
