headset volume hard to set well

Many have experienced the speaker is not loud or clear enough buring calls. I feel the same trough the headet too, but the system sound like ringing is way too loud. I turned down til mute, because one step above mute was already too loud. Then the called person answered, and I had to turn it up again to hear her. After the call I get the very loud beeps because of this. My head hurts because of this shouting all the time.
Please make volume even!
