Bug: Paarlampi Lipstick crashing on Twitterupdate

Hi everybody,

currently I am very disappointed of Paarlampi because my Jolla is now as unstable as never before. Everytime I hit update in the Notifications window (only Twitteraccount configured) Lipstick freezed screen goed black and red led flashes, after half a minute it restarts lipstick. When I try to edit the email settings the same thing happens and settings get stuck, too.

Is this a known issue?

No, this is not a known issue.

Do you have developer mode installed? Are you able to provide some help debugging this issue? If so, can you do the following:

ssh into the device, and then run: systemctl --user stop msyncd.service wait a couple of seconds, and then

kill -9 `ps -C msyncd -o pid=`

wait a couple of seconds, and then: SOCIALD_LOGGING_LEVEL=3 devel-su -p msyncd

open up another ssh terminal into the device, and run: devel-su -c journalctl -af

Then use the pulley menu to update notifications.

Send the content of both of those consoles to chris dot adams at jolla dot com My guess is that either msyncd or our connectivity stack is crashing, and this is somehow causing lipstick to crash too. Either way, that logging should help us determine what the issue is.
