Sailfish Browser's search field (custom DNS)

I have changed resolv.conf to use OpenDNS's nameservers. When I try to search something from Sailfish Browser's search field (on the new tab page), I'm being redirected to website-unavailable.com. Does anyone know is it possible to edit the search field's functionality (under .mozembed perhaps) so that the browser redirects to Google/DDG/etc. when searching?
I dont believe there is a work-around to this ad-based revenue behaviour of OpenDNS.
