android apps unable to show preview of videos

when you are in whatsapp and you try to attach a video clip to a chat session, you will not be able to see a preview (just the first frame) of the video. all videos clips are shown in the video selector screen of whatsapp as having a black preview screen. therefore, it becomes difficult to know which video you really want.

It happens only for the videos taken using Jolla camera...Right?
