[bug] Gallery doesn't correctly align pictures [duplicate]
In the Gallery app, pictures aren't correctly aligned. In portrait mode (for a portrait picture), on the top of the picture, there is 1 row of pixels where you can see the ambience. On the right side of the picture, there are 2 columns of pixels where you can see the ambience. In landscape mode (for a landscape picture), on the top of the picture, there is 1 row of pixels where you can see the ambience on top, and 2 columns of pixels where you can see the ambience on the left side. This only seems to happen with pictures in 16:9 (or 9:16), i.e. pictures that should use up the entire screen space.
You can easily see this yourself by choosing a bright ambience and a dark picture.
Sababo has made a picture where this issue is visible (disregard the red box in this case): http://s8.postimg.org/xmoktuzc5/20140505_092913.jpg
Edit: seems to be fixed in 1.0.7.16.
Edit 2: my mistake, it wasn't fixed yet, and remains in 1.0.8.19.
You may need an ambience that has structure/contrast to the image or you might miss it.
