I can download/install foursquare app from yandex but when I run it, it tells me that phone is not authorized or something (sorry I haven't managed to test recently so don't remember the exact error). I'm guessing some of the plans didn't quite work out (yet): http://techcrunch.com/2013/03/03/jolla-ceo-interview/ ?

Foursquare is one of my main uses for a smartphone so its a bit disappointing that i can use that any more. :(

Looks like @xmlich02 is working on a native Sailfish foursquare application.

The first version was submitted to harbour QA. The source codes are at https://gitorious.org/foursail/foursail/ . Feel free to contribute.

Works flawlessly for me. Installed Google play and some Google programs. Some of them installed "GServices", which probarly helped foursquare to work.

Where did you install Google play from? I don't see it in yandex nor jolla store.

http://www.jollatides.com/2013/11/29/jolla-how-to-access-google-play/ There's a little typo in the guide. Change

rsync -av –ignore-existing /home/nemo/system /opt/alien into
rsync -av --ignore-existing /home/nemo/system /opt/alien

It also seems that Google services are installed there.

Install Google Play services to Jolla
Install Google Play Store to Jolla

Now they are installed but they don't work. :( When I launch them, the window comes up but then it disapears, w/o any errors what so ever.
