Correct me if I am wrong, but I think QML and JavaScript can be used to develop Sailfish apps, too. (C++ can still be used at the heart of the application for processing, but is not required.)

APRESS currently gives away an e-book for free that covers developing apps with QML and JavaScript for BlackBerry. I guess this can be useful for Sailfish developers. The e-book is for free, so just have a look. (You have to go through the entire purchasing process, but the price is 0.- and you have an according option for "payment").

Sailfish apps are QML/JavaScript/C++ as is Cascades. But Cascades is very different from QtQuick.

I would rather suggest qmlbook.org, although it's not complete yet.

I just skimmed the chapter about JavaScript, looks like should be possible to have a close-to-100% JavaScript app if the app just consumes some REST API. Very promising! :)
