how to use Google Calendar without Contacs sync?

Hello, i want sync a google calendar from my work. But i dont want sync all my contacts with Google. How can i setup it?

Right now, unfortunately, you can't (except my manually deleting the google contacts sync plugin from /usr/lib/buteo but obviously that's a bad idea). In the next update, however, you can explicitly enable/disable the synchronization of different datatypes for each of your accounts (and set other settings too, such as different schedules etc).

It seems to work on the latest update; I just added my work google account, and I was able to sync any of contacts, calendar, emails etc however I pleased. Job well done :)

I haven't found that option. It only let me enable disable email/im and sharing. So if I wanted to go through further it would require I sync contacts as well.
Wish they would just add a google connector support in the caldav account support for the oauth stuff.
ruskie ( 2014-07-04 14:40:52 +0300 )edit@ruskie that's curious - it sounds like the sync profiles are not being generated on account creation (or during upgrade) for you. Have you enabled developer mode on your device? If you have, you can try running devel-su -p sailfish-accounts-tool --create-profiles to force creation of the sync profiles.
