Settings not available for email app [duplicate]

Recently, my email accounts stopped updating automatically and this works only on manual request. Also, if I want to edit settings for the email app, I go to Settings -> Apps. If I tap on email, the settings app crashes. Changing settings for all the other apps work fine. I am running version 1.0.5.19
