When I’m viewing a photo in ‘gallery’, how do I assign it to a contact [answered]

I’d like to know both or either ways of doing it

When viewing a photo there isn’t a pull down action to assign to contact
When I go into People and attempt to edit a contact, where’s the photo field? I’ve got various headings (Nickname, Details, Phone, Email, Address, Website, Dates) but none of them have a place for a photograph.

When you open the people app and select a contact on the top left corner there is a bit square with a + in it. Tap it and you can add a pic/avatar to your contact.

hmmm… on the top left there is only one dot. (There is no square or +).

On the top right it says “Accept” and there is a dot next to that

Not when you edit. Select the contact by tapping on it.
