Duplicate of this

Edit: Also affects uploading by browser.

In Email app when trying to attach a document to a new mail, not all documents are displayed (the documents shown in documents app that are downloaded from internet or received with emails are not displayed).

To reproduce: choose Create new email -> ... -> Add attachment -> + -> Documents, not all documents are shown. The documents that are stored in nemo/Downloads do not show up, just the ones stored in nemo/Documents.

In the Documents app all documents are there.

For some purposes i prefer to see the "raw" files in the Documents folder, which the Documents -app could not open, for example you need to debug something, store your logthis.log file to /home/nemo/Documents/ and you can later attach that to email.

If there were only files that Documents -app can open, this wouldn't be possible.

But i give my vote for that the FilePicker could see both "Documents" and /home/nemo/Documents

In 1.1.9.28 I cannot add any documents as an attachment using Email app. I see 2 documents using the Documents app. Workaround is to create the email from the Documents app.

As a workaround install Cargo Dock and use it to move your file to Documents folder.
