Internet trough USB to Jolla

I was wondering if it is possible to share your PC WLAN through USB to the Jolla phone? The reason I want to do this is that the only available internet connection I have right now is at Uni (where of course they use eduroam). Therefore I am unable to log on to WIFI with my Jolla. So it would be pretty cool if I could establish a internet connection through my PC.

Any suggestions on how to do this (if this can be done)?

wifi drains battery, while usb-internetconnection charges Jolla!

I haven't used this in a while, but I guess it should still work.. If you are adventurous developer mode user, try it out:

Can you (or someone else) elaborate on how/why developer mode is needed? What is supposed to happen on the device after setting up the usb0 interface? How can I tell it to connect to the internet via USB?

You should be able to get eduroam working if you aren't afraid of typing some things in a terminal by using the workaround here: https://together.jolla.com/question/315/wpa-8021x-enteprise-others-wifi-support-needed-workaround/

The functionality is there, there is just no UI to do it yet.
