I have put the phone in Flight Mode over night. In the morning I received a phone call, which I declined. Then I remembered that the phone was actually in... well, Flight Mode! This is certainly a bug. Can we test?

Note, this is after the latest update 1.0.2.5!

I can confirm there is definitely a bug with flight mode. Just power on the phone without SIM card inserted and turn flight mode on. Then insert SIM card. Phone still shows flight mode enabled, however you can see network operator name and you can receive calls and SMS!

I have the same problem. I have Flight mode enabled on my Jolla and I still receive texts and phone calls. Very annoying! Especially since I cannot answer the phone when it rings. I get a message that the action cannot be performed in Flight mode. Duh! So don't ring!

I have duo sims. This means I have 2 sims with the same telephone number. This allows me to have 2 telephones with the same telephone number without having to switch sims. However, I can only use one at a time. So I have to turn the telephone I am not using off or set it to Airplane mode.

My Lumia 620 is my main device and my Jolla is backup. This week I have been using my Jolla in Flight mode with WiFi enabled to play a game that is not available on my Lumia. I have been getting texts and phone calls on my Jolla instead of my Lumia. Even though Flight mode is enabled.

well, I used my phone in the flight mode on a plane and it didn't crash :) It would definitely be reassuring to see some EMC measurement data of Jolla in the flight mode.

If that happened it is certainly a bug, pretty serious actually. However I tested this myself on 1.0.2.5 right now and flight mode goes in flight mode and I can't call my number. Are you 100% sure that you didn't inadvertently touch the remorse timer within 5 seconds to cancel the action? Can you try again?

I am pretty sure it happened. But, as it is being said: being sure is an illusion! Can't repeat it :-)

That's what we call "Reproducibility" in jargon :D

However I've been able to reproduce this bug only when simcard is inserted in flight mode, which anyway will typically not happen. But if if this situation is not handled, maybe other situations are also handled badly.
