[BUG] GPS position broken in OsmAnd (Android app) since 1.0.7 [answered]

Since latest upgrade, OsmAnd can't find an accurate positioning and fails to calculate a trip, saying I'm "too far from a road". And indeed, it shows the position on the map, but off by a few hundred meters from the real position.

OsmAnd used to work just fine before the upgrade.

There are somewhat similar reports, but not this exact problem: no GPS error, but wrong position in an Android app...

I have tried rebooting, but this did not have any effect.

Well then it's not GPS. generally recommended to update to reset your smartphone to the factory settings. Try Throw all the settings and install the application again.

No, my problem is different: even when active, the application gets a wrong position (but not an error)

Perhaps it's a problem with GPS / Glonas port because I had something similar on Sygic and found a solution : https://together.jolla.com/question/40406/bug-sygic-has-satellite-fix-but-does-not-show-current-position/#post-id-41567
