I tried different combinations of display illumination, each time the notification turns blue, when Display illumination is dimming right before screen auto turns off. Anyone got the same behaviour?

Happens at my place as well. I thought it's a sort of a weird feature - useful when you are reading something to know when to tap to prevent the screen from going off...

I got this too and supposed it's a feature to notify the user the screen is about to switch off. I even find it quite useful.

Does not happen always though, so I suspect it is a bug. Or the feature is buggy.

Now that both automatic and manual brightness control allow using close to minimum display brightness, it is possible to end up in a situation where it is not possible to make clear visual difference between "on" and "dimmed" display states.

In those cases the blue led is lit so that the display does not blank without any warning.

nice. but what is the difference between an "on" and "dimmed" screen?.. as a dimmed screen is always on. and please extended this feature to other brightness levels too.

I think he means the dimmed state where the display usually dims down and needs a tap to be responsive again, with very low values you wont recognize a visual difference.

In my case the behaviour is all the same reagardless of the illumination you choose. I tried different configurations and everytime the Display dimms and is nearly turning off, the white pearl notification appears ;-)

I read this before, I thought it's quiet weird turning blue notification on right before turning screen off. But somehow it could be a feature ;D

@rainisto: It's not as blue as the IM one, something between blue and cyan, and steady, not blinking. As I was writing in the comment to the question, I thought it was a feature, but if you don't know about, then I was probably wrong :P

I think this colour is called 'pearl white' by Jolla and I also noticed this behaviour while you on low display brightness/ in a dark enviroment that this pearl white LED will turn on before the display times out.
