[Implemented in 1.0.3.8] After screen time out, return to last active app [released]
If I e.g. read a document on the browser, I often forget to touch the screen to prevent it from switching off. Activating Jolla returns back in lock screen.
Now, having to double tab, swipe up search for app tile and click to activate it is a lot of moves. would prefer double tab, swipe up and return to last active app
Very good question! A good guesture would be a swipe from the middle of the screen towards left or right border.

chemist ( 2013-12-24 21:02:34 +0200 )editI'd prefer a (user configurable) grace period after which the phone deems the previous activity forgotten and sends that app to the background.
Jope ( 2013-12-24 21:07:19 +0200 )editI really like the push-from-side idea, which nicely mirrors how you minimize a running application (and makes the "minimize, interact with cover action, go back" process more seamless), but unfortunately it conflicts with the ambience switcher (after favouriting ≥2 ambiences).
