Cant restore gallery from backup [not relevant]

I took backup from everything and tar'ed .vault dir to sdcard. Then i reseted phone to factory and installed newest update. Now i cant restore gallery. everything else restored fine. Any ideas? It just goes red when trying to restore. (ofcourse untarred .vault back into place)
