Hello

I've got installed the Sailfish 1.0.7.16 installed on my nexus. It's a very great OS, very plaisant to used.

I find theses bugs :

MMS doesn't works (SFR operator). The MMS conf is correct :s
For some apps, there is a display bug, the text is not correctly written (photo).
the configuration of the locked screen code doesn't works. After giving the phone two times a code, it's not saved.
Camera doesn't work. The app crash every time.

For ideas to add (or maybe I don't see it, sorry):

Alarms: Can we change the volume sound of alarm independantly ?
SMS: Can we change the color of texts? With some wallpapers, the color of our texts send is not readables
Mails: Can you add IMAP Idle functionnality?
Mails: Can we have a way to display a mail, and go to the next without go to the mail list?
Calendar: Can you handle ICS files? Like exports of Outlook calendar
VPN: Can it possible to support natively OpenVPN connections?

@dealova he's not merely using the Android launcher, but running the full OS, reaping the fruits of having open devices.

I'm using Sailfish OS on Nexus 4 as well as on Jolla. Trying my best to give you some answers:

MMS: I haven't tried yet on Nexus 4, but I thought it should work (I might be wrong though). MMS troubleshooting here: https://together.jolla.com/question/38555/mms-issues-hints-for-debugging-and-helping-us-to-improve/
Notifications of unknown people and pre-loaded contacts: I think you accidentally downloaded the demo-image which has pre-loaded content. The people you see are Jolla workers. This Sailfish imagine is only intended for demonstrations. Of course you can download an image without that pre-loaded content.
Google Play Store: Sailfish image for Nexus doesn't include Android support at this stage (licencing agreements). You therefore can't use any Android apps (even though you might be able to install them)
App display bug: That's a known issue. A good example is MeeCast which doesn't adapt to the higher screen resolution of Nexus 4. It's up to the developers to correct that and of course Jolla for proper documentation (especially with the aim to distribute Sailfish OS on different HW)
Lock-screen configuration: I can't test that at the moment, could me a non-working feature

You have some great suggetions there and you find many of them on together.jolla.com. Calendar can only import VCF files at the moment. On Jolla devices you have the option to set up a Microsoft Exchange account where you can sync hotmail contacts/calendars/mails (again due to licence agreements, Exchange service isn't avaiable on Nexus 4 image).

Apparently the MMS bug is due to my operator. Yes I did take the demo version, I though it was a version with some additional apps, but I don't think there was other stuff like contacts and notifications :p

Anyway it's a very good OS and nice to use, I'm very pressed to have a final version :)

Do you know if IMAP Idle is schedule for be added on OS ? I know it's a feature not installed on Android systems, and very very wanted by users ; I'm pretty sure a lot can be gratefull if it is added on Sailfish :)
