Partial Or No App Screenshot (Jolla Launcher Bug) [not relevant]
In the multitasking section, the multiple open apps only show partial screenshot of the upper left part of the app, not complete and sometimes there's no screenshot at all.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

The thumbnails are provided by Android system and are always partial and mostly downscaled as well.
Screenshotting other applications is prevented intentionally on Android, so it is not fixable (without requiring rooted devices).
Well, in theory they could be full thumbnails, but so far we haven't encountered any device that would actually do that.
tdb ( 2014-07-03 10:27:35 +0300 )This is a known issue mentioned on the release notes: https://together.jolla.com/question/44587/jolla-launcher-alpha-release/
I read the 'not working well' part but I just wanted to point out the nature of it. The partial screenshot thing.

I heard that to get a(n even partial) screenshot of an app, you're supposed to open and close the app the jolla way (swipe from any edge of the screen to the centre) a few times. but yeah, it's still cropped.
odeiraoloap ( 2014-07-02 10:00:27 +0300 )Yeah, that partial thingy is wat I'm talking about! I knew abt the jolla way method but it doesn't work evrytime, skips once or twice in like 10 times.
