No SMS notification

If the Messaging app is open, phone doesn't give any notification about received SMS - there is no tone, no notification, no flashing light, nothing but message itself visible in app (which I never have reason to check except when there's a message notification so it took a while to notice that there actually were some new unread messages).
If Messaging is not open the notifications are as expected.
This started after Saapunki update, previously I didn't notice such behavior.
I'm not sure but I think flash SMS's even gets missed completely sometimes. We use a SMS 2 factor auth at work that is how I have noticed, but if phone screen is off it does arrive.

when i open it it will directly show the new sms instead of the overview.
might be a coincidence , but this seems to happen mostly for new sms threads...

late88 ( 2014-08-05 22:00:28 +0200 )editI've had trouble with this too. Can't exactly identify when it happens, but its a pain when my bank sends several 'you're nearly overdrawn' texts and the phone receives them but does not flash the LED or put a notification up. Its not a new effect either.
