[feature] last folder viewed in email app is remembered

I have a mail account on Exchange. I have subfolders under my Inbox and I have set up rules to deliver mails important to be to a subfolder called "To Me" under Inbox.
each time I launch the mail application, it defaults the view to Inbox. not only that, but I also have to go to "To Me" and manually synchronize emails.
can the email application be made to remember the last mail folder viewed and revert to that? and if that folder cannot be found then default back to Inbox?
