My Jolla from time to time loses network connection, and can recover it only via hard reset. That itself is annoying, but I can cope with it.

However, the device is silent about the fact that it lost the network, so you end up missing (sometimes important) phone calls and text messages until you notice the problem. It would be nice if device would indicate "Problems with network connection" all the time, not only couple of seconds after connection has been lost (which seems to be the case right now) in that blue line-popup on top of the screen, which shows itself in lock screen as well.

That way, you could immediately see that there is some problem with connection, and maybe reboot the device soon enough.

Thanks!

It is imperative the user is notified about the loss of mobile network connection with a notification event and sound/vibration (depending on the profile).

When the user taps on the notification on the events panel, the Mobile network settings should be opened to allow changing the connection type (automatic/manual) or request a search for available networks.

I guess being out of network coverage is part of the mobile life and has always been like that. I could imagine a warning if I am off network for 5-15 minutes. Constant warnings would be an annoyance, since some buildings tend to kill my network coverage and I am spending half an hour in such a building. "Warn me again in X minutes" would be a nice feature. As always, make it an option (tm). ;-)
