After update 1.0.8.19, while playing android games the window "Select internet connection" keeps popping up. Need help on how to block this window from re-appearing after canceling the first request. Or to turn this issue into a bug request.

Agree, this is so annoying, experienced it while playing Subway surfer and lost the game many a times. This is already reported here, I suppose.

@chemist - I believe, in many cases it makes sense to ask for Internet Connection (Eg: Whatsapp) when it is not connected. There should be some option 'Dont ask / prompt again' which should be remembered for the app for that session?

I am well aware that the popup is valid in many cases but there are cases where they bug you, that is why you are asking for a change. What I am telling is that most annoying popups should actually never happen. Therefore I do not need a setting for it as I excpect it to be a bug that gets solved and I never ever run into it again. I general it would be nice to say "only autoconnect to known and active services and don't ask me for connection when there is none available you know already" - that would need me to act when I actually want to go online. Things like a-gps or offline map applications should not bug people, neither do android apps that are set to offline-mode in the first place.

anandrkris ( 2014-11-26 10:39:04 +0300 )editDoes not help anything if it pops up every 5 seconds with a 5 seconds remorse timer... how about fixing the current bugs and see if you are still bothered enough to have the need for anything in addition to the bugfixes, currently I consider only one out of five connectivity requests not a bug. It stopped asking for connectivity (for me) when it was slow on connecting to a known network (that was the most annoying ever)
