Black covers for some Android apps after idle time [released]
After some idle time, some android app covers are completely black on my phone. I have seen this with Osmand and WiMP, but not (yet) with Threema. Anyone else? If this happens with two apps at the same time, you need to go trial-and-error to find the one you want to open.
I assume that the runtime is going into some sort of sleep mode and this is intended behavior to save energy. If so, I'd suggest to display a recent screenshot of the app instead, maybe semi-opaque overlayed with the app icon (to make it obvious that it is not a "live" app screen being displayed), just to make the covers recognizable.
There was already something on the subject: https://together.jolla.com/question/50674/improvements-to-the-way-android-apps-are-shown-10819/
