I have found the sailfish browser to be very unresponsive and not easy to use.

1) I touch somewhere else, and it clicks somewhere else the tap and click is not always synchronized. it is a hit and a miss for some pages. for e.g. I have the mobile youtube site open, I have scrolled downwards, I am tapping on recent videos but it is subscribing me, the link is on top.

2) the links are loaded at a random speed, if the page has prev, 1, 2, next links, they are not readily available always. it randomly happens for an x page where the link will suddenly not work for y minutes. I tap, double tap, wait for 1 minute, tap, tap to the side, and then suddenly the next link would work. and sometime it works like it never had any issue. God knows if it is waiting for the entire page to load sometimes.

why can't it work instantly and uniformly.

I request jolla team to please fix this.

hear, hear!

I have the same problem, and find it particularly unsettling when using online banking websites :O

It feels as though it can go into this "sluggish mode" sometimes. The smooth scrolling goes away and it becomes very hard to scroll up and down through the page. Maybe its something running from the webpage in the browser in the background perhaps, some java crap or so.

Only thing todo when this happen is to either close all pages(tabs), close browser or even reboot the device.

Issue 1) is a duplicate. This is a known issue I read somewhere. It is very irritating but you can get out of it by flipping to landscape mode and then back. Then it will have corrected the positions of the links so that you can click them.
