From a carrier, in Germany? Probably never. Phone is too costly and poorly packaged relative to spec. It'd be very hard for carriers to sell and they wouldn't want to market it. Besides, Sailfish still has rather a lot of teething problems, so return rate would likely also be very high.
If carriers in big EU markets are to sell Sailfish OS devices, it'll be from other OEMs or Jolla's successor phones (if they're a major improvement on the current device).
If you want a Jolla now, just order one directly from Jolla.

Do you mean a sim-free phone or through a carrier via contract?
Mariusmssj ( 2014-09-08 22:49:06 +0200 )editYes I mean from a provider like Vodafone or so ^^
Pocketmen ( 2014-09-08 22:59:49 +0200 )editAt the moment contract Jolla phones are only available in few countries and as far as I know Germany is not on that list. You can buy it sim-free and use Vadafone sim but I guess that's not what you want.
You can call up vadafone themselves and ask for Jolla on their network. My friend had vodafone pay for his phone so he could get a contract with them.
Mariusmssj ( 2014-09-08 23:04:08 +0200 )editOh cool I never know that is possible to do so . Thanks for your answer!. I will try it!
Pocketmen ( 2014-09-08 23:06:44 +0200 )editYou don't need to buy phones directly from your provider. You can buy Jolla directly from Jolla (hey, Europe's good for something! ;)) and use it with your own micro-sim.FWIW, I bought directly from Jolla, no problems. Before that, I ordered my N9 from Germany, as it was hardly available and too expensive here in the Netherlands. Heck, the shipping cost from Germany was lower than directly from the Netherlands...
