It looks like the version of bash on these phones is susceptible to the recently discovered "Shell Shock" bug. Is an updated version of bash going to be available for Sailfish soon, and, if not, how worried should I be?

I don't see this as a duplicate. Asking if Jolla is affected is different from asking if we should be worried. (There's a very good chance that the Jolla phone is affected while there's no real reason to worry.)

Meh, I'm comfortable seeing it as a duplicate. Search didn't show the other posting at the time I submitted this, but I would've been satisfied with the responses to that one.

I'm afraid all Jolla users should be worried. See https://together.jolla.com/question/56822/bug-jolla-bash-shell-is-affected-by-the-shellshock-bug/ about availability of the fixes - it's rumored to appear in next version.
