Passwords and curly braces issue

I am unable to log in to some sites or online services via browser and some apps when the password contains an opening or closing curly brace: { }
Issue reproduced in SyncEvolution and in browser, on 10.0.8.19.
Not all apps have the problem. For example, I think Cargo Dock didn't have the issue.
Steps to reproduce: - pick a website you have an online account on, make sure the password you are using doesn't have any curly brace. - log in to the website on your jolla, log off, to confirm it's working properly - on a computer, change the password of this account by adding an opening or closing curly brace to it and log out - open browser on Jolla, try to log in on account.
Actual result: Log in fails due to wrong password
Expected result: Log in should succeed
