Is the speaker quality bad?

I am wondering whether the speaker quality of the Jolla really bad?? I have reasons to this,
(1) The loud speaker at maximum volume makes slight shrilling noise as if it is overloaded.
(2) When the head phones are connected, at maximum volume, even the same shilling can be heard. I use Sony MBX series headphones.
(3) The speaker at the earpiece, when put on loudspeaker mode during calls gives away the same effect. It feels very uncomfortable to use this option.
All in all, did Jolla compromise in the build quality of the product? I am at least happy that the software updates are available on regular basis but H/W, I am not that satisfied. except for the first half exterior metal casing nothing else is so impressive.
I still believe that N9 build quality was much better than this.
Camera is a total flop. the front facing camera features lot of image lagging in real time (Normal usage, Skype calls). VGA or just 1.2 MP cameras perform much better than this. I do not want to comment on the primary 8 MP camera, I am not happy with it.
I really feel that Jolla has compromised a lot on choosing H/W resources properly. They trusted too much on their OS.
But I still support Jolla for the dedication, passion and commitment they have. Hoping to see a better spec in future product line on Jolla.
Yes, the speakers are bad.
I have suggested to put (inter alia) better speakers into the "Jolla 2" - see here: https://together.jolla.com/question/19564/jolla-2nd-device-hw-suggestions/?answer=55884#post-id-55884
