Android Apps icons with jolla shape
Dear all, i this it's a good idea change the default android icons with a modified icons with a Jolla Shape.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.
Many apps have icons that represent their brand. Rounding off a couple of corners just to make it Jolla shaped would not only make it ugly, but also violate the original design. Therefore, a complete redesign of the icon is pretty much mandatory.
If you'd like to contribute here's some resources. Especially the design guideline is worth checking out.
The community has already chipped in for example here and here.

What are you asking exactly?
You think it would be a good idea to change Android App Icons to look like Jolla Icons?, well, change them then!, you can change any app icon you like, except Terminal app icon.
But there is no 'easy way', you have to do the work yourself. You will need an Image Editor (or ready made app icons at 86 pixels by 86 pixels and in .PNG format.
Once you have created or found the icons you require, you will then need to use Terminal on Jolla to 'shift' your new app icons to the relevant folder/s in ROOT, so
devel-su
will be required to gain root and then you may possibly need to reboot the phone for the new app icons to show.Regards,
