Look at MeeRun SportsTracker. It's a very nice running app and it's native. https://openrepos.net/content/bwalter/meerun-sports-tracker-0

I use Rena every day to track my runs. It's a native Sailfish application and it's incredibly simple to use. It records GPS position, maps your route using OpenStreetMaps, and shows basic statistics. I use the GPX file it creates to upload it to the exercise-tracking website of my choice.

BONUS TIP: Messwerk is an application you can use to test / turn on different features of your phone, including the GPS. A few minutes before I go running, I'll start Messwerk and turn on the GPS. Messwerk will keep the GPS connection on, even if the phone goes to sleep. I hate the way phones turn the GPS off and on every time the screen turns off!
