Cannot install jolla store apps [answered]

I recently installed Sailfish OS via MultiRom. I got the files for it here: https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris/Install_SailfishOS_for_hammerhead
I cannot install any apps from the Jolla store. I hit install, it downloads, and then says it cannot install. I have scoured the internet and could not find an answer. Are those links on that wiki page outdated? Is that why this is happening? Otherwise, I cannot think of anything that would make this happen. Thanks in advance
Edit: Also wanted to say I already tried a Factory Reset (actually did nothing besides restart the device) and I uninstalled and reinstalled sailfish os
As far as I know the Jolla store currently only works for Jolla devices. You can use OpenRepos Warehouse (https://openrepos.net/content/basil/warehouse-sailfishos) to install apps, although not all apps on OpenRepos are available on the Jolla store and vice versa. There is also zero QA on OpenRepos so make sure you read the descriptions or comments well to see if there might be any important issues.

I've been a member of TMO (Talk Maemo Org) for years, take a look.
