New sailfish-browser version

I really want to use the duckduckgo search engie and I know there exist a workaround and I use them. How I can see the github code from our official browser have add a function for this. (https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-browser/commit/b5ac97072d7af6f9880f4f0eee7341b1af1d0024)
Is there any plan to use that newer browser build in upcoming sailfish releases or are there any custom builds that I can install?
There used to be a Sailfish Browser Nightly repo on openrepos, where you could become a tester to the latest versions (bit like the opt-in update), but it looks like it has been removed. My bet is since the latest update updates the whole qt stack it would just not work with the old qt from .8 update. Hopefully it returns when official update9 is relesed
