Secure WLAN password is never asked, connection fails [answered]

I just got my Jolla with firmware 1.0.4.20 out of the packaging today. I couldn't connect to any WPA-2 secured network. After choosing "Connect to Internet" -> (SSID of protected network), the phone would immediately give a notice "Failed to connect, try searching again" or something.

For anyone who would bump into this issue, it solved itself after downloading the 1.0.8.21 update through an unprotected Wifi network.

Now it does ask for a password, after which it will connect without problems.
