Date and time jumps back in history after Jolla reboot [duplicate]
Hi sailors,
Again I tried searching for similar behavior, but did not find anything with the search.
The problem in a nutshell: My Jolla shuts down and reboots, and after that the datetime has gone back to yesterday and to a different time of the day as well.
This first happened like a month or two ago, and I thought that "ok, it was just a one time thing", but now lately (week or two) my Jolla has been shutting down all the time and the battery has drained like 10 times faster from what it was in the beginning, from like 24 hours to couple of hours.
Today when I was at lunch, my Jolla shut down and restarted, and when I unlocked it I noticed immediately that the time was off for several hours. And as I went to change the time, I noticed that the date had also jumped to yesterday.
So then I first tried to uncheck the "update datetime automatically" option in the Settings and adjusted the date and time manually to correct time, thinking that if the automatic update server is not in correct time.
Later today I was in a meeting and my Jolla had 49% battery, then 30 mins later I took it from the table and unlocked the screen, and it only said "low battery" and shut itself down. I tried turning it on, and the battery was only 3%. So I went and plugged it in and then turned it on like an hour later. And then the date and time had again jumped to yesterday, and as I received some messages in MitaKuuluu, they were back in time as well, since the phone was living in history, so I needed to scroll to yesterday to see the new messages.
And now I know that it's not the automatic update that changes the datetime, but it's related to my Jolla crashing down / running out of battery what ever strange behavior. Why it changes to yesterday? Yesterday was better for my Jolla?
I should ship it to Jolla Care and hopefully receive an answer (can't at the moment since don't have a replace phone and I need a phone the next 2 weeks - and my Jolla still works a bit...).
But I'm curious if I'm the only one having this type of problem with my Jolla? (This is really grinding my gears)
Oh turd! Now after adding this there is related question: https://together.jolla.com/question/58418/clock-time-wrong-after-a-crash-random-shut-down/ ... that was not found when looking with date and time :( bugger!
