During Update Jolla Store crashed and after reboot Store doesn't even start. Crashes seconds after opening before entering the main screen. Can't access the update.

Can I fix Jolla Store in Terminal or is there any way to fix this?

In Terminal, you could run "journalctl -fa" as root while the store crashes. Maybe this will give a hint about what's going wrong.

I have same problem. The command devel-su journalctl -fa: Store credentials not received. Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

Same problem here. Developer mode disabled and rebooted the phone. Did not help. Store does not open anymore

Reset to factory sttings brings back the store... not the best solution :) But works. Now back to Sailfish 1.0.0.5 it doesn't detect the update an considers this to be "actual".... what now?

My store did not start to work even when I waited for the rush hour to go by :) I used terminal --> devel su --> pkcon update. This took 5-10minutes to updata all. After it finished, I rebooted and firmware was updated and everything else. Jolla store also opens fine. So everything works

I believe that the problem is described in K377U's reply: "the remote application did not send reply... the reply timeout expired..." ;) Jolla infrastructure overloaded...? :)

<@Stskeeps> ***NOTE: we have overloaded store servers right now, if you [can] wait [...], i can suggest playing PuzzleMaster and [try later]

Distributing one small file to all users is not that big task. Use Google Cloud Platform or Amazon to do that. There is clearly a design flaw if one update can crash whole store.

Hey, I'm NOT saying I believe it's "OK"... ;) I'm just trying to tell You what the problem is... ;)

The solution, right now, apparently is: WAIT... ;)

DrWilken ( 2013-12-27 17:22:26 +0300 )edit

Yeah, solution is to wait... still hammering the update ;)
