When you prepare Sailfish for the upcoming tablet, please make sure the rudimentrary support for Bluetooth keyboards we have now gets massively improved. A tablet offers use cases that are more likely to benefit from a bigger BT-keyboard.

Excactly what I need. I'm in need for a tablet because I will start university next year, and writing notes on a software keyboard is simply not fast enough. Also, a good office program, using a filetype compatible with openoffice would be really good, but the keyboard is a must have for me.

obviously there was not much improvement concerning the connection possibilities for a Bluetooth keyboard. :-( trying hard to connect my new jolla tablet with a logitech k480 keyboard, but unfortunately failed. hints appreciated ;-)

@warmekueche - try again (assuming you still have your jolla & bt keyboard). I just got a 2nd hand Logitech K480, it paired first go and I can now compose email and text messages, but that is about it.

We do plan to improve the support for Bluetooth keyboards for the tablet, adding roadmap tag. Meanwhile, we are happy to report that there are synergies between this and the work done to support TOHKBD community project.
