What relation does the Jolla device have to the Nokia N1 atom tablet just announced?

Nothing at all.... The Nokia N1 is a Nokia branded Foxconn product with the Nokia Z-launcher. The Jolla tablet is a tablet with SailfishOS executed and designed by Jolla

still I find it strange, I was expecting some sort of synergy, not antagonising.

@pmelas: Antagonising? How? Nokia and Jolla are two separate companies and have nothing to do with each other. Except that a number of Jolla people have met and worked together at Nokia in the past, and that Jolla has a contract with Nokia HERE for map data.
