Specifically, I'd love it if the classic vibrate-for--touch-feedback of contemporary phones was enabled on the tablet too.

I recently got a Nexus 9 and was pleasantly surprised to find that unlike older Android tablets I've tried, it vibrates on key and button presses. Moreover, it does so in a way that feels more satisfying and tactile than even many phones do. And having recently installed SailfishOS on a Nexus 4 (I know, I know, I'm late to the game), I've discovered that SailfishOS with a fast enough motor takes the keyboard experience from "decent" to "why would I want to type on anything else?", not to mention how much bits like the tactility of the pulley menus adds to the feel and guidance of the UX.

So, it may not be standard for tablets, and it's probably too late to propose hardware features anyways, but I'd love it if a decent rumble motor was included in the tablet to show off all the strengths of SailfishOS!

Jolla Roadmapping Meeting - Friday 16.01.2015

Thank you for your contribution to the Jolla Tablet project!

We receive a lot of ideas and suggestions, which we are grateful for, but all of them can't be implemented. We've reviewed your idea and unfortunately it is not something we can implement, at least right now.

However, we will keep all suggestions, and might revisit this decision in the future if we see an opportunity to implement this feature-request in an upcoming product/SW release.

Best regards,
The Jolla Tablet Team
