On today's IRC meeting, Jolla asked us the community to document what, from the community's point of view, is missing openness to contributions.

So this is a poll, answer with what do you know it's missing openness, which part of the SailfishOS stack, specially apps/UI?

Please only answer with what you really know, not what you think! (So you should have tried to contribute, but couldn't, hit a brick wall or another, or had to resort to patchmanager, or uglier hacks)

All answers should be wiki, to be the most productive possible, and avoid duplication.

@chemist - Don't we need to keep this open as the details of table with list of package is not yet complete?

A list is provided, and we won't get it more complete over here, do we?

Hmm, thought any inputs on missing components / discrepancies on package details could be reported on this thread. Anyways, this is a wiki as well.

@locusf - Thanks. One suggestion - Can we have the packages grouped further under categories for readability? For instance Qt, Mer, Nemo, Jolla Core, Applications, etc

Happen to notice that sailfish-officeis not listed? https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-office
