hi all in here,
since yesterday I've got my jolla and I'm impressed. Also got a little "bug?". I can switch between predefined ambiences. But I can't create new ones with my pictures I copied on it or taken with the camera. Somebody else had similar issues?

Thank you for you're answer. I already tried that. But that's my problem. If I went after creating ambience to the ambience folder there is no new one. I tried it with ten different picture but with no one I was getting an new ambience.

ok. I collect the actual behaviour: -create ambience from own photos not working -change and choose one of the predefined ambiences not working -sailfishos-utilities not found in store to test above mentioned method -picture resizing for ambiences and then set / create ambiences fail
so I'm completely out of using ambiences BUT:
If I went to predifined ambiences and rate them to favorites / star I can change ambiences from the quick ambiences switcher. There it works but only for predefined rated ambiences. That's totally strange. Anybody knows why this happens?
update: After upgrading to opt-in version 1.1.0.38 I'm able to switch between predefinied ambiences out of gallery how it shoul be. But still can't create new on.e Also cache store deleting didn't solve the problem. How cn I check if it's a case for the jolla support. The problem is still exists until the device arrived last monday. thx

Generally, you open gallery, tap on an image, then use the pulley menu to select 'Create ambience'. Same with any other image that shows in the gallery.
