A Break for the Devs
I totally understand everybody's concerns with the tablet that they spent 200$ on, but I think many people are taking advantage and stretching what can really be done and asked for. I think it's great a company like Jolla exists than can and is willing to speak so openly with consumers, but on the other hand I get the feeling some people are being too picky and feel entitled to any feature they want. You don't want them feeling like they are shipping a product that their customers aren't happy with. Especially in this price range the company has a very small profit margin on the hardware.
I don't want to be rude, but please think twice about asking for something that isn't that important.
I agree, but on the other hand, it would be a shame if a great idea isn't shared, because it might seem unimportant at first. I say we continue sharing all that comes to our minds and let the community filter out what is relevant to them and then lets just let Jolla decide what can and should be implemented.

But Jolla know what they are doing and they just ignore that kind of request, they know that a majority of us are aware and happy about what they are achieving!

Not all are readable, and not all are good ideas, but they should be vetted by us "peers", and they could be useful to get the feeling of where to invest further efforts in the future. Now, if you asked to think question through, and to check they are not already proposed, you would have a point, but other than that, I would say we can ask whatever cquestion we think may be useful to discuss.

With the open nature of Jolla everyone can contribute except just pick on the devs. But this beeing a consumer device the general tone in the forums is less contrsuctive than e.g. in the apache mailinglist or such. I guess it' s probably because most people haven't written software themselves or worked in a startup. Big thanks to everyone who made Jolla possible. Keep being awesome! Not trying to discourage anyone to post constructive ideas...
