while surfing with an unstablet internet connection it can happen that you are on a loaded site and lose connection. if you then open a new tab the screen will become white and nothing happens. if you try to go back to the original tab you cant, because there is only the original which is all white.

so basically at this point you are stuck.

there is a way to cancel the opening of the tab but this also seems like a bug. by opening a new (empty) tab and then switching back to the original one, the original one will no longer be just white but as before. and no new tab will be opened.

i hope this is understandable (so many tabs) - the result is that during unstable connection surfing is horrible - also this is another argument for loading new tabs in the background (as so often requested on tjc)

with sfos v1.1.2.16 and the re-design of the browser the behavior has changed a little bit, most is mostly still the same. white screen, no new tab -> cancel tab and only first tab is there which is reloading.

it feels like the new tab is only opened after the first bytes start comming in from loading the page instead of opening an empty tab before loading the actual content.
