Cannot take photos now, cannot change the theme now

Photo shooting is not working. I have only 69% of memory used according to the APP lighthouse. I believe it is not the space problem. And this incident has occur several times this month. The first time when this happened, I deleted some songs and released some space, after a few time restart, it worked somehow, but not this time.
And for theme changing, it just does not work. These two are the most basic functions, it should be fixed immediately.
The last question is when will I get the next sailfish OS update, it has been quite a long time since last update.
if you are usung takhlampi.. resetting is the only option ... if u are using uitukka then try refreshing the app registry

I'm running Uitukka and did have this problem, but I had been playing with other files which may have caused the error. I ended up resetting after trying to re-install camera and camera settings apps without success.
As for a possible 'fix' for the Ambience function, open terminal and type this in;
systemctl --user restart ambienced.serviceRegards,

Jiang ( 2014-12-14 17:00:26 +0200 )edit@Jiang - sounds like you'd be better off resetting the device, as suggested by Ghost in the first reply. I personally would also reset. I know many don't like the idea of resetting, but sometimes it's the quicker option.
