One thread on the issue can be found here. I have a bluetooth headphone set by Samsung, its' buttons function properly at least in the phone app and native media player. But, it's obviously not an Apple set :)

i want about the apple earpods..... just for the audio ..

Well, if you're only interested in listening, then any headset with a 3,5 mm jack will work, as @Buster has already said in his answer.

any headset with a 3,5 mm jack

Only if they are a simple audio headset, with no provision for media control. If they have buttons then there are two different TRRS standards. The Jolla supports the CTIA/AHJ standard rather than the OMTP standard (which was used by, for example, the N9 and N900)

Sound and microphone works wit the earpods, but the buttons don't work, even no pause/play worked for me last time I was running. So I tested also my Beats and earphones from Samsung Galaxy S3, same result with all.

So I also think about to get some bluetooth earphones, but first I want to test them.

@DiosDelRayo Button signalling by BT headsets / speakers should work accurate as long as they support BT profile AVRCP 1.0. Jolla Zendesk

the audio sound will work, because this works with regular 3.5mm Jack. But i'm not sure if the microphone or remote bar (play/pause/..) which are integrated in this product will work too. I've read some threads and articles that it works on some android devices. But the most devices doesn't work correctly with it, excluding Apple devices. Furthermore the data sheet says that full compatibility is only given on apple devices.
