I managed to set up a caldav account for GMX calendar service. As described in GMX help (e.g. sync calendar like iOS or Anddroid) does not work. But in the help you can find the setup for Mozilla Thunderbird

If you enter in server path https://kalender.gmx.net and in the calendar path field /begenda/dav/your.mailadr@gmx.de/calendar/ it works.

Uncheck CardDav option.

I can sync between Jolla, Apple Calendar and Webservice.

After account creation, it works fine for one sync, after that it's only one way. No matter what I do, I can't receive events from the server on my phone, only send events to the server. What am I missing?

For me its working. I moved an appointment from yesterday to today and it appears in my calendar.. Did you check how often you synchronize? Default is 2 times per day try to do move it to 15 mins. You can change it in the details of the CalDav Account

Seems like creating new appointments in the phone don't update the CalDav Account

Um, just the opposite here. Creating an entry in the gmx doesnt result in an entry in the jolla calendar. With any type of sync, be it 15 mins or twice a day.

As of update "Björnträsket" 1.1.7.28 synchronization with GMX-calendar seems to work flawlessly. Thanks @chris.adams. Could it be that with GMX-accounts you have your email as the user name, which didn't work with the buteo sync before? And that the fix for that has been implemented in the update?

I didn't even have to delete and reenter the account data. First start of the calendar app didn't show the synced "my calendar". So I quit the calendar app, synchronized the CalDAV-account and reopened the calendar. After a couple of tests I am sure synchronization works both ways now. Now the only thing that remains is the daylight savings time offset bug or whatever it was that made all synced events one hour late. I can deal with that, though.

Hi, most likely you're correct about the username@domain thing - that was fixed recently for carddav with https://github.com/nemomobile/buteo-sync-plugin-carddav/commit/e8e53d1d510d64526c9b51c7d5316388482473d7 and for caldav with https://github.com/nemomobile/buteo-sync-plugin-caldav/commit/19cd824ea55e2fa4a58397cbe5e9688345af5912 and https://github.com/nemomobile/buteo-sync-plugin-caldav/commit/cf232b3fcfcc7c7002fed1e7f2b1f8422fcc6e06

What version of kcalcore-qt5 do you have? devel-su -p pkgconfig get-details kcalcore-qt5 should tell you. The daylight savings fix should be in version 4.10.2+9git10 I believe.

Hi, thanks again. No success. If I enter the entire command string I get no result at all, if I split it, pkgconfig isn't recognized. Do I have a typo? This is not urgent, as I am happy with my calendar for now.

Sorry, I made a mistake. The correct command is devel-su -p pkcon get-details kcalcore-qt5 but it seems that the fix did not make it into 1.1.7 but is definitely in 1.1.9. Sorry for the confusion!

@chris.adams Is it possible to get the version 4.10.2+9git10 already now to install it on 1.1.7? So far I did not find a place to download this version.
