[feature-request] sorting out pictures in gallery

I'm deeply surprised this isn't made yet. The lack of this function makes the use of gallery troubling if not impossible. I made a backup of a game folder which has ~200 images and the appeared in a gallery, oh dog what done'd. Also would be nice not to see album covers there. So i would like to ask for a "sort by" menu and a feature to hide some images/folders from the gallery all-seeing eye.

I have tried several ways to copy the pictures from my N9 to my Jolla phone, but still i found no way that in the end the pictures are sorted by date on the Jolla again. There is such a mess in the Jolla gallery, no chance to find anything quickly within the ~1000 pictures i have stored.
Stefan P ( 2015-10-14 01:15:22 +0200 )edityou can try the ".nomedia" file trick. Put an empty file with the name .nomedia into the folder and it should be excluded from indexing in the gallery. But I also don't like this trick so much since an app update of the game could delete this file again.
